Aerotek is looking for Swiss lathe machine operators or machinists to work on their Swiss machines to manufacture titanium and stainless bone and dental screws for the medical industry.
Machinists will be given different jobs on a daily basis from Lansing or Ernesto (production managers).
They will be responsible to set up the machine and dial in the work with different tooling.
Once the initial set up is done, a first article inspection is submitted to ensure part is ready to run
Once dimensions are inspected, the operators will run the part.
Operators will work along the senior set up machinist to learn tooling along the way and be able to do set ups on their own.
Inspections will be performed with optical comparators, CMM machines and other basic inspection tools.
Must be able to use basic inspection tools
Understanding of basic GD&T codes
1+ years of Swiss Lathe Experience OR CNC Lathe experience within the medical device industry
