PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY: Performs necessary duties to operate, program in 2D/3D and maintain CNC Mills with Fanuc and Yasnac controls in a safe, clean, and productive environment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform advanced set ups on multi axis CNC mills including toolset and troubleshooting. Program intricate parts including 3D programming using Mastercam and Esprit. Comprehensive understanding of Fanuc macros. Reads, comprehends, and understands blueprints, sketches, and verbal and written instructions. Uses standard shop measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, optical comparators and vision systems. Maintains equipment including machines and measuring tools. Keeps work area safe and clean. Continually demonstrates the ability to setup and run close tolerance machined parts of various materials using mill machines in a fast paced environment. Trains and mentors individuals in the assigned work center on requirements for the production of Medical Components. Control and manage the workflow in the applicable areas. Prioritize work within the department. Responsible for the efficient planning of machines, equipment and/or personnel in the department. Assures the quality level of processing and the adherence to procedures. Responsible for the training and the identification of training needs for the department. Instructs, trains and assist operators with machine operation, techniques and quality and productivity as required. Performs record keeping, data entry, housekeeping, and implement safety regulations. Responsible for achieving the goals and objectives established for the department in quality, efficiency and utilization.

Education and/or Experience: High School Diploma or GED; Five to Seven years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in manufacturing desired.
Language Skills Ability to read and comprehend correspondence and basic technical procedures. Ability to write basic reports and instructions to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Mathematical Skills Ability to apply basic mathematical concepts with addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division in all units of measure, using ratios. Reasoning Ability Ability to define problems collects data, establish facts and follow instructions in written and basic diagram formats. Ability to multi-task variety of problem solving and deal with several internal and external situations.
Computer Skills To perform this job successfully, an individual should have advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word; Microsoft Excel; Microsoft Access, and departmental applications.
