  • Our Opening and Your Responsibilities

    The CNC Programmer is repsonsible for creating CNC programs across all CNC Machines for new or revised parts to enable fabrication to easily and seamlessly produce high quality parts on time. Create Nests for 2D Laser Cutting & 3D Plastic Routing based on the given schedule to ensure high machine uptime as well as low raw material scrap. Create CNC code CNC Mill & Lathe with live tooling based on the given schedule to ensure high machine uptime as well as reduce tool change overs and set up. Work with Manufacturing Engineering to maintain an organized CNC file library that is easily accessible and revision controlled. Work with Fabrication Scheduling to ensure agreed upon production schedules are being met.

    What You Need to Succeed

    Ability to work within a fast-paced team environment with excellent verbal communication skills. Ability to reach out to and work with other teams as required through self-motivation. Background in metal and plastics fabrication and machining. Ability to read, understand, and translate 2D drawings and 3D models. Ability to create, write, and understand G Code. Familiarity with Inventor, Team Center, HSM, Vcarve, and Mazak nesting software. Ability to work with Microsoft Office based programs. High School Diploma or GED required, 2 Year Technical Degree/Certificate Preferred or equivalent experience.
