Interpret blueprints, job cards, bill of materials, and routing sheets. Deal with problems involving several variables from situations which vary by customized order. Work within precise limits. Bench, MIG, and/or TIG welding experience (aluminum and steel).


  • Set up and assemble various components for welding.
  • Set up machine for welding
  • Weld aluminum components (bench, MIG, TIG) approx 10% of time.
  • Weld steel components (bench, MIG, TIG) approx 10% of time.
  • Mount pieces to welded components.
  • Grind welds.
  • Perform finish plumbing to include; fitting up of pump panel, mechanical linkages, and 4-way package.
  • Prepare pipe for plumbing installation including: cutting and threading.
  • Repair any identified leaks.
  • Weld, thread, and install heavy weld pipe

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Technical degree or certificate in Industrial Welding or previous welding experience
  • Ability read blueprints required.

  • Ability to build or construct product preferred.
  • Previous pumphouse fabrication and assembly experience preferred.
  • Previous plumbing experience preferred.
